Services received outside the network are not covered, except in the case of emergency medical care. The HSA lets you set aside pre-tax dollars to help offset your annual deductible and pay for qualified health care expenses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Here\u2019s how the HSA works:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You contribute pre-tax funds to the HSA through automatic payroll deductions.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, your employer will contribute $1,000 annually to your HSA if you enroll in employee-only coverage and $1,500 annually if you enroll yourself and one or more family members.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your contributions, in addition to the company\u2019s contributions, may not exceed the annual IRS limits. These amounts are pro-rated for new hires\/newly eligible throughout the year.
