They are similar to 401(k) plans because they allow you to place a percentage of your salary into an employer-sponsored plan that helps you save for retirement. Pre-tax and Roth Contributions are available.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefits Include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Investment options:\u00a0 Mutual funds<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility: start, stop, and adjust your contributions as allowed by your employer\u2019s plan.\u00a0The minimum contribution is $10 per pay period.<\/li>\n<li>Receive\u00a0quarterlyaccount statements<\/li>\n<li>No 10% federal penalty for early withdrawalof pre-tax\u00a0assets. Different rules apply to Roth contributions.\u00a0You must be separated from service in order to withdrawal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Contribution Limits<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>2024<\/strong>:\u00a0$23,000<\/li>\n<li><strong>2025<\/strong>: $23,500<\/li>\n<li>Participants aged 50 and older at any time during the calendar year are permitted to contribute an additional $7,500.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>All investing involves risk.
