- Enrollments:
- Employees can enroll anytime, and plans are issued as individual policies.
- Employees request a quote/enroll for cats and/or dogs by visiting this link or PetsNationwide.com and enter company name, or by calling 877-738-7874.
- For a quote/enroll for birds or exotic pets, call 877-738-7874.
- Rates for new enrollments are subject to change anytime. Nationwide will always quote the most current rates.
- Effective date of new coverage will begin 14 days from the date they enroll (example: Enroll on 5/1, policy begins on 5/15).
- Nationwide will directly bill the employee via credit card or bank account info.

- A $2 monthly installment fee is applied or can be waived if the full annual premium is paid up front.
- Pre-existing conditions are excluded and will not be covered on any plans.
- Multiple pet discount: 2 -3 pets: 5% discount, 4 or more pets: 10% discount (shown online)
- Renewals:
- Renewals will vary depending on when employee enrolled their pet and policies are not based on employer’s plan year.
- A policy term is 12 months and will automatically renew (employees do not re-enroll).
- Rates are guaranteed for the 12-month term.
- Policyholders receive a renewal notice at home 60 days prior to their policy renewing with rates changes, if applicable.
- Policyholders can only make changes to their existing plan during their own renewal period.
