All benefits must be re-enrolled to maintain coverage effective September 1, 2026.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Key updates include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Transition to TRS ActiveCare through Blue Cross Blue Shield with three plan options effective 9\/1\/26.<\/li>\n<li>New enrollment site, FFenroll, goes live on July 7, 2026. Refer to the benefit guide for enrollment steps.<\/li>\n<li>Elect to continue participation in the Catastrophic Sick Leave Bank.<\/li>\n<li>Decline or waive SAFE Loan Options to remove the benefit.<\/li>\n<li>Re-elect Flex Spending Account (FSA) annually.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure accurate beneficiaries for district-paid basic life insurance.<\/li>\n<li>Review payroll deductions for accuracy; contact the payroll department for discrepancies.<\/li>\n<li>Confirm selections by clicking &#8220;APPROVE&#8221; and then &#8220;I agree&#8221; to finalize. Failing to do so will remove your selections.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"OYPEnA font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">For new benefits to take effect, eligible employees must be actively working on the plan&#8217;s effective date.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>NEW HIRE ENROLLMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Upon your active-at-work date, you have a 31-day window to enroll. The process of selecting your New Hire Enrollment options will take place online through the Spring ISD Staff portal <a href=\"https:\/\/launchpad.classlink.com\/springisd\">myspringisd.org<\/a>. Before proceeding with enrollment, we advise familiarize yourself with the range of benefits accessible and identifying the optimal choices for both you and your family through the Employee Benefit Center.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MID-YEAR BENEFIT CHANGES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"OYPEnA font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Changes to your coverage within the plan year, including additions or cancellations, are permissible in the event of a change in family status. Subsequently, navigate to the &#8220;Employee&#8221; folder and select the Benefits Enrollment icon. Upon successful login, proceed to initiate the online enrollment process.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left\">\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">View Current Benefits<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">After logging in, you will arrive at the welcome screen. Your current benefits and premium deductions will be listed on this screen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-start para-style-body\" style=\"text-align: left\"><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\" style=\"color: #ff0000\">View\/Add Dependents<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-start para-style-body\" style=\"text-align: left\"><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Click next to view your dependents. It is very important to make sure the social security numbers and birth dates listed are correct. If you plan to add dependents, you will need to enter their legal name, social security numbers and birth dates.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Begin Elections<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Click next again to <span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">begin making your benefit elections.
