EMPLOYER-PAID TERM LIFE INSURANCE

  • Your employer provides all eligible employees a $15,000 life insurance policy. The cost of this policy is paid for 100% by your employer. This is a term life policy that is in effect while you are employed.
  • Under this plan, your coverage amount reduces by your age on the next following September 1st as follows: by 35 percent at age 65, and by 50 percent at age 70.

  • Your spouse’s coverage amount reduces by your spouse’s age on the following September 1st as follows: by 35 percent at age 65, and by 50 percent at age 70.

  • Term life does not continue at retirement.
