The benefit plans listed below are part of IRS Section 125. The premiums are deducted from your gross earnings before federal withholding taxes are calculated. This lowers your taxable income, reducing your taxes and increasing your take home pay.

Benefit choices for the above plans (with the exception of the HSA) cannot be changed during the plan year except in the event of a qualified IRS Section 125 event or TRS-ActiveCare special enrollment event.
