The district’s medical plans are offered through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas. There are three medical plans to choose from. The plans offer a 2 HMO’s, Standard and Enhanced and a High Deductible PPO option and includes prescription benefits offered by Prime Therapeutics, a division of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas.
Finding An In Network Provider:
- Go to BCBSTX.com
- Click on Find Care
- Select Find a Doctor or Hospital
- Under Basic Guest Search, click on Search or Doctors as Guest
- Input zip code
- Select Employer Plans
- Select Texas
- Select HMO or PPO (HMO select Blue Essentials/PPO select Blue Choice PPO)
- Type in the name of the doctor or hospital
