Spring ISD Benefit 2025 – 2026

Eligibility

For new benefits to take effect, eligible employees must be actively working on the plan’s effective date.

NEW HIRE ENROLLMENT

Upon your active-at-work date, you have a 31-day window to enroll. The process of selecting your New Hire Enrollment options will take place online through the Spring ISD Staff portal myspringisd.org. Before proceeding with enrollment, we advise familiarize yourself with the range of benefits accessible and identifying the optimal choices for both you and your family through the Employee Benefit Center.

MID-YEAR BENEFIT CHANGES

Changes to your coverage within the plan year, including additions or cancellations, are permissible in the event of a change in family status. Promptly informing the benefits department of any such changes within 31 days is essential.

QUALIFYING LIFE EVENTS INCLUDE:

  • Changes in household, including marriage, divorce, legal separation, annulment, death of a spouse, birth, adoption, placement for adoption.
  • Loss of health coverage, attributable to your spouse’s employment, losing existing health coverage, losing eligibility for Medicare, Medicaid, or CHIP, turning 26 losing coverage through parents

Spring ISD 

Open Enrollment: July 16th – August 8th!

It’s Open Enrollment time, and you have the choice to review and select your benefits. Spring ISD has implemented several changes, including updated premiums and a change in the vision provider. Please review, update and confirm your benefits and premiums. Once you have verified your selections, kindly click “Approve” to confirm your selection.

USEFUL INFORMATION TO KNOW

  • Please remember that no modifications to your elections can be made after the annual enrollment period, unless a qualified mid-year change under Section 125 or a special enrollment event occurs.
  • To confirm your selections, you are required to click “APPROVE first. Subsequently, a pop-up will appear, prompting you to click “I agree” after finalizing your elections; failure to do so will result in the removal of your selections.

You can log in to enroll in your 2025 benefits.

To Enroll online:

  1. https://my.springisd.org – use your credentials to login securely through Spring ISD Staff Portal.
  2. Then access the Benefits Enrollment icon in the folder titled, “Employee”.
  3. Once logged in, click to start enrollment.
  4. To confirm your selections, you are required to click “APPROVE” first. Subsequently, a pop-up will appear, prompting you to click “I agree” after finalizing your elections; failure to do so will result in the removal of your selections.
