2026-2027 Benefits Open Enrollment
Enrollment Opens: July 6 – August 7, 2026!
2026-27 Plan Year Benefits must be re-elected for coverage starting September 1, 2026.
It is Open Enrollment season, providing you with the opportunity to review and select your benefits. Spring ISD has implemented several significant changes, including a transition to TRS for the medical plan, which now offers three options for selection.
We encourage you to take the time to review, update, and confirm your benefits and premiums. Once you have verified your selections, please click “Approve” to finalize your choices.
Key updates & reminders:
- Transition to TRS ActiveCare through Blue Cross Blue Shield with three plan options effective 9/1/26.
- New enrollment site, FFenroll, goes live on July 7, 2026. Refer to the benefit guide for enrollment steps.
- Elect to continue participation in the Catastrophic Sick Leave Bank.
- Decline or waive SAFE Loan Options to remove the benefit.
- Re-elect Flex Spending Account (FSA) annually.
- Ensure accurate beneficiaries for district-paid basic life insurance.
- Review payroll deductions for accuracy; contact the payroll department for discrepancies.
- Confirm selections by clicking “APPROVE” and then “I agree” to finalize. Failing to do so will remove your selections.
