Term to 100 life insurance is a permanent coverage plan that lasts until age 100 level premiums the entire time.
How It Works
- Guarantee Issue (One Time)!: During your initial eligibility you are eligible to enroll under a Guarantee Issue offering meaning you do not have to answer any health questions or take any medical exams!
- Lifelong Protection: The policy provides a lump sum death benefit and level premiums all the way to age 100!
- Issue Age: Once you enroll you are locked in to the age band you enrolled under, meaning your rate will not increase even as you change age bands.
- Death Benefit: When you pass away, your beneficiaries receive a lump-sum cash payout.
A life insurance policy with a long-term care (LTC) rider allows you to access a portion of your death benefit early to pay for qualifying medical and living care costs.
How a Long-Term Care Rider Works
- Long Term Care Rider: If you qualify as requiring long term care (meaning you cannot perform a minimum of 2 of the 6 ADL’s and are medically chronically ill – or activities of daily living) you could be eligible to receive 6% of your death benefit per month for up to 34 months (or you could request a lump sum payment in lieu of the monthly payments) to cover costs associated with licensed health care needs.
- Waiver of Premium: While you are receiving the LTC benefits your premiums are waived.
- PreX: This does include a 6/6 pre-existing condition limitation.
- 90 Day Elimination: You must be certified chronically ill for a minimum of 90 days before the benefits would start to pay.
